Hello all! Has anyone heard of hyperbaric therapy for a brain injury? If so, what was it like? Did it help after so many sessions? And any other input on the topic if you have any!
Haven’t heard of it for brain injury but my Dad was tested so he could start for complications from prostrate cancer radiation treatments. Unfortunately he was not able to as they discovered Stage 3 lung cancer. Check out websites like the MayoClinic, webMD, NIH, use caution when on websites that are glorified infomercials. I did look at a couple of sites, one said most insurance and Medicare won’t pay for it. My guess is there’s not enough evidence to support it or the evidence says it’s not working…lGood Luck and keep us posted!
