Dizzy

Has anyone got really dizzy and it hit you really fast and fell?

Hi Jeannie...I experience dizzy so bad for 6 years before my aneurysm was found .. that the dizzy would bring on my very first panic attack... but since I have been coiled and some health problems ... the dizzy is worse and I often fall...I have been cleared of every test for dizzy...except they keep telling me it is caused by my brain aneurysm and the trigeminal nerve is damaged...along with one of my cranial nerves...this being said...I am just so careful when walking...I wish I could tell you this will get better...it does for some...I can no longer drive because I am so dizzy from movement in car...I can't keep my eyes open...I wish for you and other's better...at 49 years old...there are days I feel like 29 ... and days I feel like 90...lol...oh well...I accept the good with the bad...~ Colleen

Thanks for the response. I got so dizzy that day. I fell . I get into car now and its like a roller coaster.

hi Jeannie me again!!--lol--YES I fell in the bathroom and a half second later i'm on all fours and my head is bouncing off the ceramic floor jarring me back to reality, I called help but no one came not even the dog--lol so I mustered up strength to get up, very scary but thank God I haven't fell in 3 yrs, I think we go thru a lot of changes of mending, and no it did not knock any sense into me!!--lol , any way are you ok? Also I had extreme dizzys upon lying down and arising and it was an inner ear infection which thankfully amoxicillin cleared up in 2-3 days, also scary as if we aren't scared enough already!!! have a great day and if it gets worse go to your dr or er

Thanks Ron. Im ok I live with 5 guys 3cousins and my teenage boys so there's really no calling for help when I fell in the bathroom. Awkward lol.but I guess the only thing neat about the dizziness is when you go for a ride in the car its like getting on a roller coaster lol. Thank god I dont drive.but I hope it eventually goes away. Have a great day and enjoy life I try to.

I have been having daily dizzy spells for over a year now - since my coiling. Every day at some point I will get dizzy and have to lie down until it passes. It can happen several times a day. It is very restricting in terms of what I can do in my life on a daily basis. On a good day I have one spell lasting a few minutes; on a bad day it happens 3-5 times during the day. I have seen a lot of doctors and am currently with a physiotherapist who specializes in dizziness and vestibular rehabilitation. So we will see how that goes. I cannot work and am very thankful for some disability benefits or it would be a total nightmare. Nobody can really tell me what went wrong when I had my annie coiled. It could be nerve damage in the brain. All I know is that it started after my surgery. I only fell once - when I got out of bed too quickly; but I have the feeling that I'm going to fall or pass out so I've learned to cope by sliding down a wall to the floor & waiting for it to pass. I don't get out much anymore for obvious reasons; but thankfully I still have my sense of humour about it all and also my family's support.
