I still have what I call headaches, but it’s pain in the specific area where my aneurysm is, does anyone have that too.
I donot get it specific to where my aneurysm is located, but many here do...~ Colleen
Hi Tammy!
I have that exact same thing! I have always had Migraines so I KNOW this is not a migraine and it is in the same EXACT spot of where I have my aneurysm! I call it an "aneurysm headache" when I talk to my Neurologist. He said that that can happen because it depends on where your aneurysm is but mine is a few inches behind my right eye. So my aneurysm is coiled. Things can happen where maybe it is the weather or other things can make that coiled aneurysm press on a main nerve right next to where the aneurysm is and it can be very painful. I was ending up in the ER very sick and vomiting and my head would seriously be in pain. My Neurologist gave me a pill I have to take each day so that it relaxes the muscles in that area. Some days I need to take a little more but most days I just take the very small dose. But if I did not have it, I would end up back in the ER and have major sensitivity to light, sounds, movement, and it feels like some in stabbing me right directly in my aneurysm. So YES, I get that frequently so I would suggest you talk to your Neurologist so he can give you a prescription to take each day to stop the pain of when your coiled aneurysm starts pressing on that nerve in your brain.
Good luck! I know it is painful so I hope you call your dr. soon! Sincerely, Courtney
