Hello, In 2008 I had 3 aneurysm in which one had rupture (leaving me temporarily blind) and a stroke..one was coiled-now I am just finding all this out-anyway it was confirmed on yesterday that I have another one and that surgery is going to have to be done but with this one because of the location it will be clamp so can anyone tell me how long they were in the hospital and what was the healing process..thanks and continue to be bless

Hi FeliCa I had my aneurysm operation 18th of August my surgeon put a titaineum clip on it I was in hospital for 6days all is going well I seen My doc on Monday and he is very happy with my recovery It took me about a month before I was feeling a lot better i should be back at work in another month you just have to take your pain meds and relax and heal

Thanks, from my other surgery I was in for 30 days but that was a rupture..

Felicia, I had to have coils so can't answer about clamps. I pray it all goes well for you and your recovery is quick. God Bless, Mark.

HI Felicia, I had my opthalmic artery aneurysm clipped on September 1, 2011. My surgery went very well I was in the hospital for only 2 days. 14 days after my surgery my neurologist cleared me for driving. I chose not to drive because the stress caused me throbbing, painful headaches. It took about 2-months post surgery for me to feel better. Also, I slept a lot.

On November 14th I returned to worked full-time 40 hours per week. At the time I felt very tired and exhausted and would sleep as soon as I got home.

Today I am doing well and sometimes I feel WOW was it all a dream?

At my one year check up my neurologist said the aneurysm was gone. Thank you God! I gave you all my sadness, tears and fears to creator-God and I felt your presence during my very difficult times. Also, this site and its people and their stories of healing - inspire me, give me strength, hope and courage.

The best advice I have received is rest = healing, so rest, rest. your are in my thoughts and prayers.
