Welcome Uconn2020! When I am able to get vaccinated, I will. The way I look at things is risks and benefits. For a vaccine against something that can do great harm, I see only benefits. We did have a topic on this that Seenie, one of our wonderful Mod Supporters replied to with really good information. Do a search on this site and see if you can find it. If you have problems, let us know and we can look. It wasn’t long ago if memory serves right.
I had a successful clipping in June 2020 and have completed both vaccines with no issues. I’m 53. I was slightly anxious too, but if your dr recommended it then I’d follow his advice and trust the science. Best of luck!
I’m 60 and had an aneurysm stented and coiled August 2020. I was eligible for the vaccine because of a subsequent heart issue. I had my first shot last week and have no reservations about getting the second in 2 weeks. Benefits outweigh the risks. Get vaccinated unless your doctors advise otherwise.
I have 1 aneurysm and I am also getting the vaccine. I see it as a prevention , these vaccines are to protect you against it. I would say if you dr. recommended then get it.
