I hear ya! I think we’ve all been there… At least those of us that we’re given a choice and were not already brain bleeding. Will send prayers your way! I decided to do it, though watch & wait was also offered. I had mine pipelined because at the time I had a 2 year old and didn’t want to risk a bleed and damage or death. He’s 4 now and in love with the word “why?” lol
I’m glad I did it in hindsight. I would have thought every twinge of anything was my brain exploding…lol. I do wish the docs were more realistic with recovery however, or that there was some sort of recovery station you could go to or plug into. The surgeons are done when your brain is fixed, but they typically don’t do much to ensure you are back to you again. Thank god for this place! And a good neurologist! Book an appt. now if you don’t have one. General practitioners from my experience are frightened to deal with this surgery.
