Hi all, has anyone been pregnant after coiling and stenting. My husband and I would like to begin a family and was wondering if there are any risk being pregnant. Im taking aspirin for life and that is another question I have. Im going to high risk OB GYN on Monday to hopefully get answers to these questions, but wanted to get feedback from those of you who have gotten prego after surgery. thanks
Hey Sky
Sorry you haven’t received any responses to your post. Part of the reason might be that when data from our old platform got moved into the new one, all the profile information for existing members fell off the truck and was lost. So unless someone here remembers your story, it would be hard to comment because your profile is empty.
Would you mind completing your profile again so that we’ll be up to speed about where your annie was and when? It’s not that difficult to do. If you open this link, you’ll be the first member to see this, our newest piece of member information pieces.
Please let me know if you see any errors, or you can think of any ways of improving it. (You don’t mind being my guinea pig, do you? LOL)
Have you tried the search feature yet? (The magnifying glass to the left of your avatar). I searched for “pregnancy after aneurysm” and got quite a few hits that might be useful for you.
Good luck with the appointment tomorrow.

Hi,
I had an aneurysm clipped on Oct 28, 2014. I have since given birth to two kids. I was very apprehensive (like you) but I joined a high risk pregnancy program and was followed very closely by my OB/GYN. I did opt for an elective c section.
You can do it! Kids are the best thing ever:)
Hi Kit34, Thank you so much for your response. I was given the green light by the high risk OBGYN. I’m excited about this new adventure in my life.
