So I am winding down on my vestibular rehab and they ran me through the same set of tests we did on my first appointment and I sailed through them with flying colors. I still have a week to go but what a difference.
My balance is so much better, I have more confidence and am back doing things that I hadn’t done in almost a year.
Now if we could just get rid of the silent migraine and the jaw pain it would be a home run.
Great News!!!!. I too did vestibular (they called it balance)rehab. It did wonders for me. I hope more people find out about it. I was told I will need to come in for tune ups from time to time. It has been 2 yrs. since I first did it and I have not had to go back. I still try to do some of the exercises they gave me to do. I still get pretty car sick if I am not driving and we go up to the mountains for hiking. I got the bands you put on your wrist and they seem to help some. I have just found that it is better for me to drive if we are on real curvy roads. Hope you continue to do well. Robyn
This is wonderful Laura...I am going to talk to my neurologist about vestibular rehab and/or seeing an ENT...you are so inspiring no matter...wishing you a good day ~ Colleen
Who would have thought that this would be needed after aneurysm surgery. It was the ENT that suggested it, the neuro said well it can’t hurt. Well let me tell you what a difference it has made.
Wow, that is awesome to hear that the vestibular rehab has really made a difference. This is a little known resource and very good to know--Thanks Laura!
