Anterior communicating artery aneuyrsm 3mm- new to board

I had a 3 mm clipped in 2012. Best decision of my life. Although it was small, I couldn't imagine living with a bomb in my head. Once my surgeon actually saw it in real life (not through a scan) he was relieved we chose to treat it as it was at a much greater risk of rupture than he initially suspected.

Mine 6-7 in size no headaches found by accident,on left optic nerve artery

Surgeon has been watching for two years dangerous 12 hour surgery sent me to see about coiling and such can only do diversion stent, radiologist

Wants to leave alone as if we tamper with could be in trouble so we wait

58 non smoker non drinker but do have high bp I will monitor no surgery

I live with each day

Had a 9mm…taken care of with stent and coil…in Buffalo…9 years ago…awake through procedures. No qualms… Was 60 at the time… Also high BP which is still hard to control… Get checked every few years… Am fine ( I think…:slight_smile:
