Just had a phone call from my neurosurgeon. The recent cerebral angiogram shows that aneurysm with the WEB device is re-occurring! Arranging a face to face meeting over next 2 weeks for more information and options.
Not feeling on top of the world at this moment!
Ah Ceejay...I am so sorry to hear this...but other than the clipping surgery ... the other procedures seem to have big chance of recurring aneurysm...Thoughts out to you ~ Colleen

No it doesn't sound like they are going to retrieve the device. They are monitoring the growth and, if necessary will do a further craniotomy to divert the blood flow from that area. Unfortunately, my consultant believes the risk of further intervention will result in some serious repercussions - additional brain trauma - very high possibility of stroke.
I'm waiting the results of my last MRI. Strangely enough, the consultant also discussed discharging me from further follow up!
