Weird feeling in head

HI ALL

I was just wondering does anyone else who had a clipping since a rupture experienced a strange sensation in their head in around where you were clipped? This is driving me mad.It feels like I have something crawling around in my head..Not sure if this is normal or not before I go to my doctor. I only has surgery in may of this yr so I am new to all this.

Thanks

Sandra

hi sandra-i'm guessing its normal but would def tell the doctor. I was coiled for sah in 09 and only in the last year i feel the tingly things-also in my ears and nose. Sometimes there are little pains -like a little bug pinchin my brain- lets see how many responses you get- i'm guessing many-oh you are newbie i just saw, thats good since you will have great improvement in the near future! I'm happy my ear popping & neck cramps stopped finally- that took about a year,Good luck with the drs visit-make sure you write down your questions. Our thoughts & prayers are with you!

Hi Sue

Yes my head is numb in parts but over the last few weeks bits of it I can begin to feel again.. :-)

I will mention it to my doc anyway

Thanks sue

Hi Elke

Thanks so much for that. I can begin to relax a bit more now knowing this is the norm for a while away.. I was actually up with my own doctor this morning and he too said its normal for these weird feelings but my neuro willl tell me more when i'm back to see him in sept please god..so if it roughly takes 6 mths to go away I should be just about half way there on Aug 12th so only 3 more to go..hmm i suppose i can bare that...lol.. strange about the change in the weather, anyway its usually cold here.

Thanks Elke

Take care

sandra

Ah thanks for your reply, its great to find out all these things didn't only happen to me.

Hope you are doing well

God bless

sandra

yep i get that too, also drives me crazy, lol. But i know how you feel.

Hi Laurie

hope your weird feelings leave soon also

sandra

I can't figure out the sequence and time on these posts, but I'll add my comment anyhow. I remember that sensation (SAH and clipping just over a year ago) and since I read your post I can connect it to the current feelings in my eyelid and eyeball. Ron, I'll watch for the weather change thing too! I remember describing it as little tiny worms crawling and wriggling around under the skin on my forehead. I do believe what the Dr said on this one, that it was the nerves coming back to life and reconnecting and hence, a very good thing. I think I also had a misguided nerve because when I drew my finger lightly across the top of my forehead, it felt like a hair was being pulled across my eyelid. I guess nerves are fairly unpredictable.

Hi Lleni

Thanks for your input also. I was kind of scared and worried about it but since I've read these my mind is more at ease but I do seem to have more frequent slight headaches from time to time, probably normal also as after all my brain was fiddled around with...lol.

Thanks Sandra :)

OMG - so it IS the change in the weather pressure that can cause these weird feelings!!! I had pretty much worked that out for myself, but did wonder if I was going mad, lol! So pleased to hear that lots of you have had this too!!! Thanks guys :-)

I don't know about going away in 6 months. The little worms wiggling beneath the surface went away, but I'm a year out and have various odd sensations on that whole side of my head.

i touched many parts of my head today and can finally feel the different part where i was clipped, plus i feel trickling like nerves coming back in my face.

headaches will linger a bit
