Vessels are narrow

I went to the Doctor today to find out resaults of angio, He told me the day he did it that I had 2 vessels that was narrowing and he didn't know why. today he talked about another vain that was narrow, He got me wondering about it and I forgot about other two. now I'm worry about the ones he didn't talk about. He said that would be the last Angio that I would need, That all I would need was an MIR from now on. He had told me that before I had it, It's been 26 months with no problems. He is going to sent records to my MD and let him take care of things, He said that would be the last time I would need to come and see Him. I'm cofused, he did say that the vessels he was talking about control speech and walking, I thank him, he save my life 2 years ago and he hug me. What ever Ive had two good years that I wouldn't have. can't help but worry.

Hi Wilma,
Not sure about what your doctor means about veins narrowing, but some people are born with hypoplastic (small or even missing) arteries or veins. I have two that they know about, one of my communicating arteries in my brain and one in my vertebral blood supply to my brain. Your body will compensate by using other arteries and rerouting veins/arteries.
This might be different then what your doctor means about your situation. Sometimes people have build up of plaque in their veins and arteries, that can be controlled by diet and medicine. Since you are not sure and have questions about what your doctor told you, it would probably be a good idea to call him back. I am sure he would be able to explain. Also, since he is sending your records to your MD, definitely talk to him about your concerns, too.
Hope this helps and take care,
Mary

Well I just made an appointment to go back and see the Doctot he is gone for two weeks, it'll be a long two weeks, I worry about a stroke, Im not scare to die, I just don't want to be get bed ridden and unable to care for myself, I use to work in nursing home and knows what happen. Well two weeks will give me time to make a list a list of what I want to know. I just turn 70 and I read that 75 is when they stop treatment they just try to keep you from hurting.
