Deanna,
Did you have TMJ before...or after...coiling?
Did you have migraines before coiling?
What symptoms brought forth diagnosis of your aneurysm?
Thanks,
Pat

Pat, Yes I have had headaches and tmj since I was a teen. I am now 49. I was in a car accident and having daily headaches and dr ordered an MRI. A small 2mm was found in right ICA and grew to a 5mm in 4 years time.
My dr told me I might continue to have headaches after coiling but I was ok with that because I really wanted it fixed.

Thanks! Hope u’re feeling better…
Deanna, thank you...
There are several of the rest of us who had TMJ early on (for me, left side only...and, ended up w/L ICA aneurysm)...
for you HAs and TMJ....did you ever have a vision problem? As a teen I had the lines of print cross over (cannot think of tech term now as I type)..My vision was perfect except for that, and I did vision therapy to correct it...
Also involved in MVA in my early 20's...
When did your MVA occur? High curiosity to me....
I had 2 MVAs four months apart...headaches began; treated as a depressed menopausal woman...apx 5 years before leaks/ruptures/emergencies...
Hope you will share more about your MVA...Today is my first 10th anniversary of first emergency survival...The only thing I can tell you...is that I never had 1% liability in any of these MVAs...and, there were no options for me...
Pat
Pat, Sadly my tmj is on right side same as aneurysm. I have aura with a migraine but other than that no vision problems.
Had my MVA in April 2008, they found aneurysm in July 2008. Someone ran a red light and t-boned me into a telephone poll and then I hit a parked car.
Deanna
Interesting...right tmj...right aneurysm...
Mine is left tmj...left aneurysm...the tmj began a long time before the MVAs...
You were blessed that someone tested you finding the aneurysm... I was not so blessed...
M first MVA...when so young...was a rear-end, thrown into the cars ahead at stop light...My first of the two....was same at stop light; the next was a broadside...
No I could not avoid any of them...w/o potentially striking another vehicle...

Hi, I am 65 years old, I just had an unrupptured 6.1 mm annie coiled June 6th at Emory in Atlanta. I had the procedure on Thursday and was released Saturday morning, June 8th. I had no restrictions except for a full Aspirin daily. I had a wonderful Dr., Dr. Jacques Dion who is a very experienced Neuro Radiologist as well as a Neuro Surgeon. I had absolutely no bruising( I bruise very easy), no discomfort and no headaches. I have a follow up appointment July 31 and possibly an angiogram in 6 months. I had the balloon assist coiling.
I went to three different Drs., one in my hometown, one in Nashville and then met Dr. Dion in Atlanta. Even though Atlanta is a three hour Drive for us I can not say enough how wonderful the care you receive from Emory. I feel great knowing I no longer have a time bomb in my head.
Prayers are with you and keep in touch.
Joanna
