Recoiling

hi Beata, i dont recall any indications before my recoiling,my "gripes" were actaully getting better-mild head aches and neck cramps and ear popping! Numbness and tingling have been the same since day1. i hope this is good news for you! in the meantime we will keep the prayers going out to you & yours, good luck & best wishes,i was sah emergency type ---- & i'm wondering if my type reqiures more- re coiling incidents

My husband his original rupture in Feb 2011. When he went back in August they had to put in additional coils becasue it has began growing again. My husband was a little shocked by having to add more coils, but having read this sight for 6 months after his rupture I wasn't too shocked that he had to have more coils.

In February 2012 on his last check up they said it looked closed off. Doctor said that it looked better than he expected, somehow is suprise wasn't very reassuring. But I guess we just take it day by day and see how things are next February when he goes for his re-check.

Hi Roberta,

I think that recoiling is not uncommon. When I was looking for a neurosurgeon, and I saw three before I felt that I had found the right person; coiling was a suggested option and each one said that they may have to re-coil but that it would be easy enough. In the end my specialist decided on a fds as a more simpler way of treating my annie. I hope this is helpful and I would not worry.
