Post operations etc. etc

I haven't had time to log into my page. Had my surgery in October, recoiling of the first two annies and stenting back in October 2012, asked the doctor for a break on three month follow up for angio, he gave me six months, I had two brain surgeries and four angiograms in 2012..my body and brain needed a little more time. Went back this year in April for angiogram. My doctor told me that the stent is still in place and the coils have not compressed, he also stated that the other annies on the left side have not grown. I have an appointment in October for follow up angiogram, which marks the one year after second surgery. I suffer with headaches on a daily basis, have slowed my lifestyle which is quite difficult. Have gotten a psychologist for depression and am taking it one day at a time. I know I am blessed now and always. The lord has sent his angels to be by my side on more than one occasion, it hasn't been easy by no means and some people in my life do not seem to understand the changes I have been through and how Aneurysms affect your life. I am being a little selfish, if I don't feel well , I stay in bed. I am not the same person as I was before my annies, but I am still me. A bit slower but alive and kicking. I am so thankful for being alive and having this site to write and release. Thank u all for such wonderful forums and responses to everyone's needs. God bless

Wanda....prayers for your recovery and for the support of family/friends....

I have been promoting Two Books (in this forum) that are from the BAF website...extend my prayers that you can secure those and ask, beg, plead, w/family/friends to read them...to better understand aneurysms...and, the affects/effects...We yet need some top-notchers who will author real data on recovery...because we need to have the anatomical areas addressed individually and whether the recovery is post rupture/leak; post-monitored-time treatment...or the new...Pipeline type...

Wanda...prayers surround you for your continued recovery... rest anytime you sense your need...

Wanda,

So glad that your angiogram went well and showed such good results from your surgeries. You are right that you need to let your brain rest. It is so hard to get others to understand what we are going through. It is ok to be selfish with your time and stay in bed. I do the same when I feel bad. My husband and I don't make any plans too far in advance now, because we never know how I will feel. Please keep us posted on how you are doing and any prayer requests you may have and I will keep you in my prayers. Praying for your headaches to get better.

God bless you Wanda and Take Care,

~ Carol

Hope all is well with you as well carol, sending lots of hugs
