I was having horrible headaches for a couple of weeks. I could barely move or take care of my daughter. So I went to the er. They did test and admitted me. I got to the nursing floor and they were the worst set of nervous I ever had. They told me I we just having migraines and seeking narcotics. I was very very upset and started crying. Then they were outside my rude talking to me like that. So I left and came home. Well a couple of days later I was still having all these symptoms. So I went to my dads dr. He got my results sent over from the hospital. I was reading the results and when I was aneurism I broke down. I have a daughter who is 11 months old. I wanted to see her grow up. Help my husband raise her and love her. Well I ended up going to the neurosurgeon and we opted for surgery bc I was symptomatic. Well my eye is barely opening. Has anyone has this problem. It’s driving me crazy. Not only they but I’m having the headaches still. Just wondering if anyone had these problems.
Hi Dee,
I had my clipping a little over 2 months ago. It took about a week for my eye to open and a couple of weeks for the bad headaches to start to ease up. I still get some headaches, pains and other strange sensations but things are much better. My name is Mary and I too am a mom (of 6). If I can answer any questions I will certainly do my best but don’t be afraid to call your doc that is what they are there for. My GP was alot of help after surgery too. I will be praying for you.
Thank you so much Mary. A mother of 6. Goodness I only have an 11 mnth old and we don’t think we are gonna have anymore. Thank you for responding to my message. This surgery has been so hard on me. I had the surgery on oct 31 and my eye still has not opened. So my daughter and I have been spending a lot of time with my parents lately. They have been helping us out a lot. I’m praying for you also and once again thank you.
Well the neurosurgeon said I need to go to my GP to get my pain under control. That they don’t do that. Ibuprofen does nothing for the headaches. I have to just sit in my bed and pray. It’s awful. Does ibuprofen work good for you?
Hi Dee, I am sorry you aren’t getting much help from your doc. My neurosurgeon told me to see a neurologist for medicine. Ibuprofen upsets my stomach so I have to take Tylenol. A while ago I was referred to a headache specialist for my headaches. We now know that I have pseudotumor cerebri. There are alot of ways to manage pain it is just a matter of finding what works for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please keep me updated.
Thank you for the support.
