For those of you that had the coiling procedure AND stent, can you tell me how long you were on Plavix?

Hi, I had my procedure done on Oct 23 and my dr said i will be on the Plavix for 3 months if all goes well. I am still not feeling well so he is ordering some tests to check my blood and possibly another angio to check everything....i am not happy about that...so i am praying I feel better soon.

Hi Lupe...I was on for about 3 weeks before coiling...however, I was too remain on it for 6 months after the procedure and they took me off because of bleed problems...I was on the plavix along with 325mg aspirin...I remain on the aspirin for the rest of my life...~ Colleen
