Thank you Carole for your reply to my message to Kim. Although I have not been a regular contributor to these forums, they have been my “go to” source for information and comfort. After living with it for almost 4 years, it was time to do something. Finding first hand information about people post clipping was not easy and again the people on this site came through for me. This is not a club any of us choose to join, but what an amazing group of people. I can only thank everyone, by giving back to this community by sharing experiences and giving encouragement. I am at home now, still recovering. But again, this is not as bad as my pre-surgery fears. Walking daily is harder than I thought and I still need pain meds for my headaches. Luckily the headaches are not any worse than pre-op and they are not as bad during the day. Once I am cleared for PT, I hope to be able to regain abilities that were lost. God bless and speed to all of you struggling with aneurysm issues. It is amazing how many people are clueless about what an aneurysm is and what it can do to an individual. Many times we gain more support from forums like this and medical providers, than from friends and family members who do not understand or “get it”. Again, my thanks to you Carole and other forum members who have helped me.
Wonderful news! Remember that recovery is a process, but you sound like you are well on your way. Good to hear.
