Welcome Barbara. I have not been here very long, but I have found that everyone has been so supportive and knowledgeable. I encourage you to ask any questions you have.

Hi Barbara,
Welcome to BAF. This is a great place to post questions that you have and to pick our brains LOL. We are all eager to help in any way we can. A few of us are also in the chat room and can help point you in the right direction for answers or answer questions in the chat room, too. You can access the chat room in the bottom right hand corner of the site or from the members tab at the top of the screen. But you are definitely starting in the right direction, so fire away.

Barbara, welcome...
I hope you will ask any questions and get lots of answers...
My only small comparison offhand, was that I had a rupture; coiled and stented off-label / off-records...
In Rehab, I had of the daily record a "collision"...the next day my lumbar spine was x-rayed; no family / friends were advised of why I was confined to bed...the x-rays / doc time were billed to/paid by insurance.
I anticipate this may be a welcoming touch...A number of us had our brains picked, packed, and touched in a minimally invasive way...another no-pun intended...
Prayers for your recovery and that you will get much feedback here...
Pat
Hi Barbara!
Welcome to the group! pick away ! Everyone here has had coils, clippings, PED's stents...some only coils, some just clippings, some have had both, a few are 'watch and wait', you name it....its a great place to gleen lots of knowledge, that is for sure. Which surgeries have you had? I'm sorry to hear about the fall in ICU..Talk about adding insult to injury! Glad you're here,
Peace, Janet
Welcome Barbara! I'm so sorry you have suffered this but happy you are here with us, I assume you had a sub-arachnoid hemmorage (SAH) ? I am 4 yrs post and things will improve as you are so early in the recovery process. Feel free to question, write or even vent- we are here 24/7! Keeping you in thoughts and prayers of accelerated healing!~~~ron
