Just wondering how many people on here had an mri for screening for aneurysms due to family history and the first mri was negative but then had another mri done maybe 5-10 years down the road and an aneurysm showed up? Any feedback would be appreciated.
My Brain aneurysm was found with an MRA...an MRI with dye...~ Colleen
Ruptured aneurysm survivor here. I had an MRI when it happened, right after surgery and every year up to year 5. I have not had another one show up but I worry every time. My 10 year will be a a Angiogram. I cannot say I have seen this happen but my sister has been vigilant and getting scanned because after I had mine, her fiancee had his AVM!
