Does anyone get pains or tightness on the top of your head from the cold AC in the room or the car?

Hello to everyone hope you are finding your self feeling better today. I was wondering if anyone has noticed if they get discomfort or tightness as i do while in a room that the ac is high and its cold?

Hi yes I do think it’s part of having surgery

I have a question did any one get bad headaches after routine mri scan

Yes, my head does not like the cold anymore either. It has been almost 3 years since surgery, but it still happens. Stocking hats below 50 degrees still help alot.

Hi Joseph,

I get tightness on the top of my from the cold AC. It's been over 10 years for me and it hasn't changed.

Hope all is well,

Cathy

Yes, and changes in weather make me feel strangely. It’s been 8 years.

Yes, I do, I am very sesitive to temperature change as well as noise! My aneurysm surgery was 2 and a half years ago.

Hi Everyone,

No, Joseph, I do not have a problem with the cold. I do have another question, however. I would appreciate some feedback. Has nothing to do with the ruptured aneurysm, just life. I celebrated my birthday on Sunday, Father's Day. My husband did not receive a Father's Day card from one son, and I did not receive a birthday card. My son was on vacation at Myrtle Beach last week. He called for a couple of minutes on Sunday to wish us a happy birthday/Father's Day. He did not stop by at the house although he lives 15 minutes away. His wife did not get on the phone to talk to us. We have been very good to this son, his children, and his wife. Am I wrong to feel slighted? I had another son, his wife, and two girls staying with us for two weeks from Colorado. They would not leave their girls with us at all during the stay. Finally, they told us that they don't trust us with the girls. They told us not to take it personally, but how can we not take it personally? They left the girls with my daughter-in-law's mother, sister, and my youngest son and his girlfriend. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR LETTING ME VENT. I FEEL LIKE A SECOND CLASS GRANDMA RIGHT NOW.

Very sensitive to changes been 4 years since my rupture.

Not really. Other symptoms, but not that one. A LOT of headaches... YES!

No

It ALWAYS happens when we are on the man (husband)side. The family of the woman (wife) is ALWAYS the PERFECT one and our sons get to believe it, that's the WORSE part!!!!!!!!!

annesherlock123,

For your two questions. I have had many MRIs and never had any problem or headache. As for the A/C it has always been an issue for my aside from my aneurysm. Just last night due to the A/C being on all night I woke up with a bloody nose. Its been happening since In was a kid. I think both of your issues may be just coincidences. Don't sweat the small stuff, because there are so many other things to worry about.

Sharron,

After a lifetime of helping my daughter and grand child through every imaginable hardship, she up and moved away last October and I haven't heard from her since. Including fathers day. I don't even know where she is. They may be our children but they become their own person even it turns out to be a terrible one. There is only so much we can do. Live your life and be happy any way you can. Don't worry about anyone but you!

No, but I find that I don’t like crowds or a lot of noise and confusion.

I have had that also plus very bad headaches at times…you learn to live with it! Mine ruptured 2008 and I have had 9 surgeries (40 hrs on the table total) something’s you can overcome with time and other things you learn to live with. I was given a 5 percent chance of surviving was paralyzed on left side and today I am off all prescribed drugs including seizure pills I am walking and just went back to work. I fought hard and 6 coils, a clip a stent and 4 plates with 2 yrs intense physical therapy I’m doing amazing so I’ve learned to deal with issues like these. I am so blessed to be alive…take care of yourself and take life one day at a time!

I don't take well to AC, since long before the aneurism. A bit of heavy head and breathing

Hi Joseph, I can't say I have. Thank Goodness.
