Daily headaches

Suffered two anuerysms two years ago. I have suffered headaches daily and can't seem to figure out why. Does anyone else suffer the same???

Cindy, headaches are more common than we would like after brain surgery or after a rupture. You may wish to join this subgroup: http://www.bafsupport.org/group/aneursymandmigraines

If the headaches are debilitating, seeking a pain specialist may help. A good pain specialist will have a number of strategies to help you cope with pain.

Yes headaches seem to be the new norm. I have tried 5 different types of meds including Botox. Only 1 kinda worked for me it was anitryptoline, but they took me off it cause it made me pass out. My bp dropped below 60/40. I didn’t like the side effects of the others. I did get nerve blocker shots and I have to say they have worked the best. I feel your pain and understand the daily struggle to go on with life pretending all is good. I wish you all the best

Cindy, if you search headaches on this site, you will see they are quite common as Dancermom suggested. We have two Neurologists in our area, the first one wasn’t a good fit for me and my photophobia…the second is a better fit. After trying me on a few meds and me refusing to try a few meds, he suggested the SPG block. The procedure reduced headaches almost immediately. I just started having them consistently a couple weeks ago but my Neurosurgeon thinks it’s stress related. Due to my parents health issues, we’ve been helping them out at their home since April.
