Has anyone had a CSF leak after their crainotomy? I had my 2nd clipping on May 29 09 and nose was leaking alittle 3rd day in the hospital. Released on 5th day and Neuro told me to call him immediately if my nose leaked. Next morning I woke up and nose started leaking. Immediately call Neuro. Returned to hospital for nose surgery to repair tiny chip in my sinus cavity. 3 days in hospital. Needle inserted in back to drain every day and had to lay flat for 4 hrs after each drain. Went home and never had any more problems w leak. Any similar stories?
