I am so very sorry for your Mom's loss of sight. My Dad lost his due to glaucoma but never ever came to terms with it. He is now in a nursing home and it breaks my heart...but what you can do is be there for your Mom....and there will be days when it is too much for her...but just reassure her....as hard that is for you it is twice as hard for her. And some days it will be hard....just remember how you would feel if it were you....Love conquers all....and sometimes that is all we can do....good luck....make sure you have support too...sending lots of best wishes and hugs your way..
