Are "moderate" headaches a possible sign of a change in an aneurysm?

I found out I had an unruptured 4mm basilar artery aneurysm as a result of a CT scan when I landed in the ER this summer with a horrible, horrible headache. The neurologist diagnosed the headache as a severe migraine and said we would watch the aneurysm.

For the past two weeks I have had a chronic headache (moderate pain) in the back of my skull and my temples. Motrin doesn’t do a thing. I contacted my neurologist, who I am waiting to hear back from, but I am wondering if headaches like this could be a warning sign about the aneurysm. Does anyone have experience with this?

I had no warnings prior to my rupture, then I had the absolute worst headache I have ever experienced. I had several different types of headaches, allergies, stress, dehydration. Stay calm, remember to breathe and drink some water.

From what I know the aneurysm usually if changes size it happens very slowly , I don’t think the growing causes the pain, I hope you will hear from doctor soon…

Prior to diagnosis of the aneurysm in 2018, I experienced a level of monthly migraine beginning in 1997. They followed a distinct pattern that corincided with menstrual cycle; symptoms improved over time and were generally improved, stable until I had a concussion in 2017. After that, migraines transformed and I needed additional nausea meds-I would still vomit even with this; vertigo increased, photosensitivity increased, head pain was debilitating for much longer and there were times I couldn’t speak during episodes; my right eye would not open and the right sight of my face was numb. When I was diagnosed with aneurysm, I was told it wasn’t explained symptomatic.
I was confused because I definitely had increased symptoms. It was also explained that symptomatic aneurysm had to be treated surgically (emergency) resulting in less chance to get affairs in order, mentally prep for surgery. Etc. I was worried I would lose my job (which I did anyway) so wanted to delay it if possible.
