Any answers?

My mom is asking me some questions about aneurysm clipping. I was hoping to get a little bit of advice.

  1. How long were you in the hospital?
  2. How long is the surgery?
  3. If you are a person with shaky balance how long should someone stay with you,
  4. On average how long before you drive alone?
  5. If you have a job that requires fast thinking an organization will be out longer?
  6. Lots of sleep

24 hrs and you’ll probably have a killer head for a day or two.
That is a hard one, it depends on what kind of surgery and how large the aneurysm is.
As long as it takes you to feel comfortable walking on your own.
That depends on your surgeon. You are having brain surgery after all. Your surgeon treats the aneurysm, only you really know how you feel. You know you best.
Surgeons say you can go back to work, 2 weeks?? I wasn’t able to be myself for 3 months. It depends on how fast you heal, if there are any effects after surgery. I never had panic attacks, ever. Was awake a few hours had a panic attack, that continued for several weeks. Not to mention brain fog. No or low energy. It’s no walk in the park!
Listen to your body, if it says sit your butt down and rest or sleep, do it. No exercise that will work up your BP or make you sweat for awhile, no lifting. So yes, you will want to sleep. Plus your on medications, your body has just gone through a huge change. Listen to what it’s telling you.
