Hi I am from Derbyshire and being treated at Queens Medical, Nottingham.
Had 10mm unruptured aneurysym coiled in July this year. Due for MRI scan in January fingers crossed it still looks good.

Mine is Ms Murphy. I had coils inserted ten years ago at the Royal free hospital after an unexpected heamorage and had to have a stent inserted last year to try and prevent another. Just on Aspirin and waiting for an MRA to see if stent is doing what it’s supposed to.

Did Ms Murphy do your coiling surgery?

I’m in Cornwall now but had my Annie in Bristol. 12 years this November 24th but still have a couple of naggies not in the best place to Op

No the coiling was done by another doctor at the Royal free who has since retired and stent was inserted by a doctor that does this type of surgery at the Nationdl. She is my consultant but has never operated on me herself

Hi, I am from Birmingham and was treated at Queen Elizabeth hospital. Had PED for 12mm unruptured anuerysm in April this year. Have angiogram this December.

I can’t believe so many people have this condition. With the greatest of respect we all know or have cancer in our lives and most of the time it’s visible so we understand but, our condition is invisible until it strikes.

Hi Shaz,
I live in near Reading. My aneurysm burst just over 3.5 years ago and was coiled in Oxford. Have only just found this site - could have done with it 3 years ago!
