What’s next?Brain rewiring

I thought having my aneurysm years ago was all. I recently started experiencing delusions and paranoia. I’m told this is not an uncommon occurrence even though it’s been . Has anyone had episodes?

Naomi, I have not experienced either. Have you gone to see your Neurologist yet? There may be some type of medication you can take to reduce the symptoms or hopefully control them completely. I learned early on that our risk of dementia and brain cancer is higher for those of us who have ruptured so it’s not something we should ignore. I don’t want to scare you but I did find this article Long-Term Risk of Dementia Among Survivors of Ischemic or Hemorrhagic Stroke - PMC. You may be able to find more.

Keep us posted please.
