Update: Misdiagnosis (!)

Hi friends -

Story I cannot make up - after repeat MRA and MRI, no aneurysm found.

I understand this is the weirdest and best possible news, an outcome we all hope for - someone made a mistake, and there’s no aneurysm there.

In an unbelievably weird coincidence (?), my mom recently had an MRA for a separate condition at the same institution that diagnosed me with an aneurysm. Findings: Aneurysm.

She had a follow up MRA yesterday. No aneurysm found.

Always. Get. A. Second. Opinion.

Can’t make this stuff up.

I’ll remain a friend and supporter of BAF and all of you.

Wow! What fabulous news!! Your advice is completely sound, and I am also fascinated that your Mom had the same diagnosis! (What is it about your arteries?!?!)

You’re right, you can’t make that up! Unbelievable in the best possible way. May you never experience anything this scary again!
