Anyone have suggestions if they are type 1 diabetic with brain injury/short term memory deficit? Having a hard time ever since his rupture-A1c is over 9 and not going down since 2013. He forgets to take insulin at times with snacks. Or he forgets what # he is before even taking insulin. I definitely need help as he’s at risk of stroke at this point and his memory won’t get much better with his numbers being so inconsistent and over 200 *+ most of the time. Please any advise!! We do go to Joslin but they don’t get the memory issue.
