Pregnancy and aneurysms

good luck terry and Tristen!!! this helped me too!!!

Good luck Terry and Tristen! I did not write it in my last comment, but my aneurysm ruptured with my first pregnancy at 40 weeks. I was flown to Shands where they did the C-section and then clipped my anyeursm. I waited for the results of my angiogram and the neuro's okay before we tried again. He gave me the okay at 6 months, but we waited until after our 3 year angiogram was done before trying again. Everything went smoothly. I saw a high risk doctor as well and had to take daily shots in the belly, but my sweet baby boy was worth it. The scheduled C-section at 39 weeks went without a hitch. Best of luck!

Thank you everyone for this wonderful and supportive dialogue. My wife and I are new to this community and she is on the mend from a serious ruptured aneurysm last year. We are hoping to get pregnant this year and will see a high risk OB this week (perinatal specialist). Will keep reading and hopefully contributing! Terry and Tristen

Any advice? Did you just monitor and watch during pregnancy??

How did everything turn out?

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and they just found a small unruptured Annie. I’m freaked
