This month, we have as our guest speaker – Gia Patel, a 16-year-old brain aneurysm survivor from California. After recovery, Gia created a documentary “BEYOND A HEADACHE” and shares her personal story of surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm. Included are interviews with doctors that specialize in treating aneurysms, personal stories, and the stories of families who have been impacted by the condition.
We request you view this 38 minute video documentary BEFORE our zoom meeting as it will be talked about but not shown. Not only is Gia’s story compelling, but the interviews with the doctors are among the best we have viewed with information vital for survivors, caregivers and the general public.
