Maine Medical Center Virtual Support Group Meeting - April 25, 2024 at 6:00PM

Please join us for our next virtual ONLINE SUPPORT GROUP MEETING on April 25th at 6PM.

The Maine Brain Aneurysm Support Group offers information, education, encouragement, and understanding to all individuals who have been affected by a brain aneurysm/stroke.

Survivors, family members, caregivers, and anyone interested are welcome to attend.

Dealing with a brain aneurysm diagnosis, either as a survivor, caregiver, or family member, can evoke a wide range of emotions. One of the most powerful aspects of the support group is the opportunity to share and learn from others who have walked a similar path. The exchange of practical tips, resources, and coping strategies can be helpful during all stages of recovery.

At every other meeting, we aim to have a guest speaker presenting medical aspects of the condition, treatment options, rehabilitation techniques, and preventive measures. Whether you’re a newly diagnosed patient seeking guidance or a long-term survivor offering encouragement, the mutual exchange of support fosters a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect.

Please be aware that these meetings are not held to offer specific medical advice, but to provide peer support and education. This is a great place for you to meet and share with others. Together, we can find strength, support, and healing.

PLEASE EMAIL: Dave@MaineBA.org to REGISTER and we’ll send you the REQUIRED LINK to join the meeting either by internet video or by phone.
