I believe this was taken about 3 weeks after surgery.

how do they take the staplers out....

Hi Vera,

About 4-6 weeks after the surgery, the patient returns to the doctor's office to have the staples removed. In my case, the Neurosurgeon's Nurse and Office Manager removed the staples with a tool that looked pretty much like a staple remover. It was weird because I didn't feel the staples that much, but each time she removed one, it kind of pricked a bit, but the relief was an incredibly great feeling when it came out.

THANKS FOR THE INFO,,,I HAD A HYSTERECTOMY IN 06 AND THE STAPLES ALMOST KILLED ME COMING OUT I WOULD THINK THAT IN THE HEAD WOULD BE VERY PAINFUL...
