Game of Thrones star aneurysm

Emilia Clarke, the lead actress in Game of Thrones, suffered two aneurysms during the filming of the show. She decided to come forward now and she wrote about them in an essay in the New Yorker magazine… One was coiled and the other attempted coiling ended in a craniotomy. She writes movingly about the roller coaster ride of recovery. Imagine being an actress who could not just be unable to remember the lines, but was unable to speak them. She had two subarachnoid hemorrhages, the first after an intensive workout and the other during the second surgery for the “watch and wait” aneurysm that doubled in size… It’s an interesting read, and a tale that will seem all too familiar to us. https://www.newyorker.com/culture/personal-history/emilia-clarke-a-battle-for-my-life-brain-aneurysm-surgery-game-of-thrones?source=EDT_NYR_EDIT_NEWSLETTER_0_imagenewsletter_Daily_ZZ&utm_campaign=aud-dev&utm_source=nl&utm_brand=tny&utm_mailing=TNY_Daily_122919_PersonalHistory&utm_medium=email&bxid=5bea009c3f92a404693b5dc9&cndid=55066982&esrc=&mbid=&utm_term=TNY_Daily
