hello dr. rosen, I had a sah aug of 2012. I was classified hunt, hess 4,fisher3. they were able to stop bleed with coils but there was a wide neck so could'nt fill it in. they continue to watch every 6 months. there is a blood supply to aneurysm but acceptable-so we watch. I have a vp shunt for communication hydrocephelous. My question is I have gotten a cold with a cough. when I cough, It is intense pain(only for the second that i cough) I am assuming this is normal because when I stop coughing, pain stops. However, my family and coworkers are nervous and think I should call neurosurgeon. it fells like explosions in my brain. tks, donna w
