Dealing with Headaches

Thank you for the response! I have heard from a couple people that the aimovig has worked well. They haven’t given me that option. I will not do narcotics at home. I had them during recovery in the hospital after my rupture and just for a small time at home, but I just don’t feel good about taking them. Thankfully, even though the headaches are painful I am able to power through most of them. They do limit a lot of what I am able to do and shorten my days and productivity by quite a bit but I dont have to resort to a dark quiet room. I’m glad the aimovig is working for you! Anything to make life a little easier!

Hey Katy,
“…We shall see!” Please, do keep us updated. Others maybe considering it as an option and although no two situations are exactly the same, comparing scenarios and there eventual outcome can be of a huge advantage to many (me included). We can often hear of anecdotal stories of a ‘next door neighbours cousin twice removed’ but very little first hand in regard to post neurosurgery Botox.
