Emy, I moved your topic from the BAF topics that are for the support group meetings to the General category.
I believe most of our surgeons use the word “occluded” or hopefully, “totally occluded” which means there’s no blood flowing into it anymore. In my understanding, our repaired aneurysms don’t leave their area, they’re more like patched up. Sorry, I can’t think of a better word this morning.
I ruptured in 2013 and every MRA shows the aneurysm but it’s dark due to the coils. I couldn’t find a good image on the internet but I did find this http://www.neurooperations.com/images/article_photos/zdtd20120704.jpg
