We’re delighted to introduce you to our newest Ben’s Friends intern, Danielle from Ontario. Danielle’s story is here, and she will be present on this community, initially to welcome new members.
The Ben’s Friends Internship program is intended to help students who hope to have a future in the medical field gain an understanding of what life is like for patients with rare diseases and conditions, while helping them gain skills in communication and relating to others. We’re pleased that Danielle has joined us, and we wish her all the best in her studies and her future.

Hi all,
Thank-you for welcoming me to the Brain Aneurysm Support Community. While I am only new here (like some of you!) I can already tell that this is a special community full of unique voices and valuable insights. As my story briefly highlights, I have a passion for health and wellbeing and a love for communicating with others. My longterm objective is to pursue family medicine, and I hope to serve vulnerable populations in rural/remote areas of Ontario.
I will be responsible for greeting new users for now. I think this will be a great place for me to start. I am looking forward to meeting many of you, and feel so lucky to be a part of Ben’s Friends.
