A TRIBUTE to the BAF as they near the end of celebrating their "20 Years" of accomplishments with us and "For" Us ... and onto their 21st! I know I'm one of Thousands who are most Thankful & Grateful for ALL the Foundation does in Support of "US" :-)!
11/8/2014 UPDATE: This Survivor Campaign/Initiative is now LIVE & presents ALL Survivors with an opportunity to personally hand our "FRIENDS" at the BAF a PRESENT, wrapped in a pretty red bow, for their "20th Anniversary"❣ Lets ALL "Rally" together with OUR goal being to help the BAF "double" the number of "medical research grants" they award in 2015t; only to stop these BEASTS right in their tracks!

When I needed it the most,
Wish there was such an org in the UK!
I join all of the others in praise for what you are doing. Thank you for educating me, supporting me, and advocating for me. A website is only as good as its participants and you have assembled a wonderful group of caring individuals. We may not ever be the same since the break in the brain, but we're glad to have a place where we can share things only we can understand. Thank you.
You Welcome Ron! I think we should start a "Survivor Research Rally" -- I just donated $10 as noted in one of the captions towards the end of this video.... If we ALL rally & do this (comes out to less than .20 cents a week); just think of the "Chairs of Research" we could help to support in 2015 --> directly helping to generate More Research & More Awareness --> Survivor Strong :)!

6,000 Strong here Ron and I see there are over12,000 members on the BAF Facebook community -- now that would be ALOT of "Chairs of Research" in 2015 from the Survivor and their Family/Friends community; beyond what You & probably many others donate. Hmmmm, the wheels are really spinning now and am wondering how we would go about creating a "Survivor Research Rally" Campaign. I've got some ideas but would Love to hear your thoughts :)
hmmmm maybe baf could help get this off and running, if we could earmark donations for "chairs" that way we could see if our goals are met. I've seen other fundraisers where theres a goal and a thermometer that rose with every donation, what I didn't like is it listed our names and the amount of donation, some people cant afford to give much but don't need that to be advertised! I will look around the site for some ideas, tc~~ ps just saw "event " area under settings on the right and fundraiser is one of the catagories
That's exactly what I'm thinking Ron --- create an "online" fundraising event and name it "Survivor Research Rally" or something like that... where we could all see the progress of the goal :). And I know that there is an option to donate "anonymously" which is great for those who don't want their name listed along with the amount of donation. In this case, there would be lots of $10 donations :)...as we strive to blow the number of research grants awarded right out of the water in 2015 :)! And Love your idea of having families/friends participate!
