Hello everyone! I hope you all have had an excellent month so far and are finding ample support within BAF. I would like to welcome our newest member this week.
@Darcie is in Missouri, United States. Darcie was diagnosed during an unexpected hospital visit following the worst headache she has ever experienced, when a CT scan showed two aneurysms. She was transferred to another hospital with a great neurosurgery department, where she had 7.5 hour surgery and stayed in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit for 14 days. Darcie is home now and doing very well. She feels extremely lucky to have survived but struggles with feelings comparable to survivors’ guilt. I hope Darcie finds support and comfort through BAF as she navigates recovery and the complex feelings that often accompany brain aneurysms.
I hope everyone has a great rest of the month!
