I am in my 7th week of recovering from my craniotomy. Three weeks after surgery it became evident I had an infection and had to have a second surgery. It has been 4 weeks since that surgery and I just had the final sutures removed. I pray I never have to do it again after twice in a month. Luckily the infection did not get to the bone flap. I’m on my 4th week of antibiotics and have two more weeks left. I have a follow up with my doctor in the 23rd and at that point he will recommend the appropriate monitoring. I’m pooped.

Sounds like you have taken a bit of a rocky road to recovery but you are on the right track now. Here’s hoping for a great follow up appointment on the 23rd!
