Surgery scars

Would anybody be willing to show me their surgery scar? Specifically a clipping scar. My mom asked me about it

Please open our photo section and look through the posts. You will find several pictures of the craniotomy scars. You can also google.

Hey Abby,
+1 for oct20’s comment. I just looked at Google images and there’s quite a few images.

The external view only shows the scalp wound, not the skull. My skull has 9 ā€˜dents’ where the plates holding my skull together and the burr holes in each corner. I’ve often joked ā€œWhen some people go bald their head is like a bowling ball, so is mine… …only mine has the finger holesā€

Both my neice and sister-in-law have required a craniotomy and their scars were all hidden under their hairline. I’d have to do a comb-over for that… Nahh, I wear a hat. Hides it all

@ModSupport I think of my scar as my survivor scar. I also have a plate and there are all types of dips and sometimes when it shifts, I have searing pain…but nothing that my Lyrica can’t handle. Having this plate is a bit of a nuisance because I still have swelling on the left side of my head, and I can tell when it swells because it feels tight. Oh well, I say I am alive and that is all that matters! :exploding_head: :upside_down_face:
