Quick Question- fatîgue elixirs

While getting my prescription from a pharmacy yesterday, I spotted a box containing syrup called liviton. what caught my eye was the statement “helps with fatigue”. So before I part with a few hundred, I wanted to ask if anyone has taken such elixirs and if so, do they work for post subarachnoid haemorrhage fatigue?

Hi there, Pepza
I’ve never heard of liviton, but then again I live in Canada, and I see that you are in South Africa. If you do a google search, there are some interesting hits about it.
It’ll be interesting to see if anybody else has something to say.

Hi Seenie,

I’ve had a look and it turns out Liviton is a concoction of liver extract,
vitamins, alcohol and caffeine which is a definite no, no for me.

Oh. caffeine and alcohol … maybe that’s why some people find it makes them feel much better in the morning. I’m guessing that there are cheaper ways of achieving something very similar.
