New here :)

thankyou robin

yes the road is long but if i never get there i dont care anymore lol,im at a point in my life that il accept anything that happens and toddle on.

One thing is though is that i will not have others with the feeling of lonliness this just isnt for the [patient but the carers also. They seem to get lost in the confusion also and at times is actually worse,

Hello you silly sausage! Nice to see you on this forum.

I only joined up last week and it's a lovely spot for some of us old pros to hang out isn't it? I've read all your posts and noticed your writing style carries on.

It's nice to finally have some options on the internet to get information.

Lucky us!

Recovery is not a sprint. It is a slow and steady walk. In your new normal is not your old normal. Friends and family need to try and understand and give you the space to work through it

Thanks for finding an old post! I’m closing it. You can tell how old a post is by either looking at the date it was posted or the last post. So for this one it started March 2011, the post before yours was Mar 2011 and then yours, which has the 14 years later and 30d. Try to stay in the current year so you will have more of a chance for a response if that makes sense. Be well!
