At 10pm central tonight, you guys may have an interest in tuning in to my Internet Radio Show. Poli is my guest. She suffered a brain aneurysm rupture before. Now they've found another & she'll be having a craniotomy on July 30th. If you can't listen live...You can use this link to later. Shows are archived for future listening.
Cut and paste the link above into your browser. It will take you to the show live, or later to the archived show. If you are on FB & have said "like" to In a Flash (book)...You can just click on the link there.
Most of you know that my rupture was in 1995. I had never spoken to another survivor until last fall, while researching my book. That & discovering all these support sites, was new to me. Now I have another 1st. Poli lives in another town about an hour away. She'll be having her surgery here...And I will most probably actually MEET my 1st survivor. I pray that's the case, and I'm sorry it's under these circumstances. Pray for her successful surgery & recovery.
good job kim that was captivating - our prayers going out now for Poli's successful surgery and recovering ,also for her assistance in the medical bills. That was awesome of her to share her life with us,thank you so much and i hope you two get a chance to meet in person you both are wonderful!-say hi to elly for me!
Thank you Ron. Will do. I’ll let her know lots of us are behind her.
My 30 minute show every week at 10 pm central (as you heard) is “recovery” oriented from a number of things. In September, my old shows will be archived for future listening…But I have been recruited by Brain Injury Network to do an hour show. My show will be similar, but tailored more for brain trauma folks. Will post the details as I get them. In the meantime…I’ll be doing more shows (think I’ve done about 14 so far) on my own.
Hope you are well Ron…Thanks Colleen and Jo. Colleen I was sick to hear about your new challenges. Hope things are improving. XXOO
Poli’s surgery is tomorrow. Our prayers are with her. Hopefully I’ll be able to tell you how it goes. Glad you liked the show. It’s on every Thursday night at 10 central. In the fall I will be moving to a show with the Brain Injury Network. It will be an hour show.
