I had coiling on a basil aneurysm a little less than 2 weeks ago. I still feel fatigued when I do activities after awhile, is this normal?

Fatigue after coiling, how long does it last? Should I be try doing a little more everyday? Ok, to rest often?

Welcome Bricha to our group! Yes fatigue is very common. Please don’t overdo it. If you’ve been reading different topics, you have seen that we have a plethora of symptoms after procedures. The best way to combat it and help your brain heal is to rest when you need to, keep well hydrated and get enough protein. Talk to your team about this to see how much you should strive for. I was told 90 grams of protein a day and one of our members shared that she applied what she learned through a pregnancy which was a gallon of water.a day. Thats 128 ounces or 16 8 ounce glasses, or for those on the metric system about 3.8 liters. Drinks with caffeine don’t count. These are just some guidelines, talk to your doctor.

Thank you!
