My name is Danielle and I am a Ben’s Friends intern. I wanted to take a moment to welcome you to the Brain Aneurysm Support Community.
I understand that you were recently diagnosed with a 7mm aneurysm. I am so sorry to hear that you have struggled with such uncomfortable symptoms… from headaches and vomiting to throat paralysis and shaking in your arm. This sounds just awful. I think your outlook is so admirable- it was only as a result of these symptoms that you received an MRI and your aneurysm was discovered.
While the risk of you experiencing a stroke during surgery is very low, who can possibly blame you for feeling worried! I wonder if you would consider making a discussion post about this. I am willing to bet that members of this community have experienced similar worry prior to undergoing surgery, and I am so certain that you will find others who understand what you are going through.
