Headaches and visual disturbances have returned!

TIA (transient ischaemic attack) means that for a short time the blood supply to the brain has been disrupted. It can be a warning of a full blown stroke but not always. Some people have a TIA and never have one again. The main thing is that you are having this reviewed. If your BP and cholesterol are under control you are giving yourself the best possible chance of recovery from this surgery. I was told to think of it in terms of having a broken leg. You would have to take time to rest and recover and even when the bone was healed you wouldn't expect to go out and run a race without having some aches and pains after so just take care of yourself and give things time.
