Lisa,
The BAF main site lists the available, known support groups of this BAF site.
You may also want to bring forh your location and ask for others in your area who may wat to meet with you and/or open a upport group in your area if one does nto exist.
If tese are nt possible, you may research your area for other "brain" sites; e.g. The TBI, the Stroke site... you may meet some other aneurysm survivors at one of these other sites.
Prayers for your success.
Pat
Hi Lisa,
Wow, 4 brain aneurysms to deal with! Did you have the aneurysm coiled or did you have open brain surgery (clipping) ? This site is full of many great people who are here for you to vent, ask questions, the whole sha-bang.
I had a coiling done in 2006 and when I went home I had lots of right sided weakness, especailly in my right hand/arm...I found computer games that tested ones quickness in response time was a great way to exersise both my mind and my reaction time (Like 'Tri-peaks solitaire)....It takes the brain and body some time to heal Lisa, my best to you in your recovery...and be sure to keep an eye on the other annies, (do you get regular angiograms?) Peace and prayers, Janet

Hi Lisa-
I don't know of any support groups other than this fantastic site. I can totally relate to how you are feeling. I had open crani with clipping of an aneurysm on the right side March 20th. Yesterday was finally one month and I feel like it's been sooo long. I am having vision issues and holy cow the emotional rollercoaster is the WORST. I cry for no reason and every reason. I feel bad feeling bad because I know so many people have far worse issues than I do and I should just be grateful that God is so compassionate and He is taking care of every detail. All of that doesn't make it any easier when you are the one feeling this rollercoaster. Big hugs if you need them. I just wanted you to know I can relate and you're not alone.
sincerely-
Cordie
Lisa,
so hope you wil give us your update...prayers surround you...
